Experienced Dental Nurse wanted for a varied private practice role

A private 3-surgery dental practice in Bexhill, East Sussex is looking for an experienced Dental Nurse to join the team on a permanent basis.

The practice would ideally like someone full-time, although applications from Dental Nurses able to commit to a minimum of 3 days per week will also be considered.

This is a varied clinical role covering general dentistry, implants, endodontics, periodontal treatment and whitening, with the practice also equipped with a CBCT scanner.

Previous implant nursing experience is essential — you don't need to be an implant expert, but you should be confident and familiar with supporting implant procedures.

💷 Salary & Package

£16–£18 per hour, depending on experience

🗓 Working Pattern

The practice operates Monday–Friday, with a later Thursday clinic.

Monday–Wednesday

08:30–18:00
Including a 1-hour lunch

Thursday

08:30–20:00
Including a 1-hour lunch

Friday

08:30–17:30
Including a 30-minute lunch

Full-time: 44.5 hours per week

🦷 Varied Clinical Exposure

You'll be working across a broad range of dentistry, including:

General Dentistry

Implant Dentistry

Endodontics

Periodontics

Whitening

CBCT imaging

The practice has 3 surgeries, giving you the opportunity to work closely with the clinical team and support a varied patient caseload.

🦷 Implant Experience Is Essential

The successful candidate must have previous experience with implants.

You don't need to consider yourself an implant specialist, but you should have a good understanding of implant nursing and be comfortable supporting clinicians during implant procedures.

This could therefore suit a Dental Nurse who has gained implant experience in their current or previous practice and is looking to bring that experience into a private setting with a broader clinical mix.

👩‍⚕️ Your Role

As a Dental Nurse, you'll be responsible for:

Providing effective chairside support to clinicians

Supporting implant procedures

Assisting across general, endodontic and periodontal treatments

Preparing and maintaining surgeries

Ensuring equipment and instruments are ready for treatment

Maintaining high standards of infection prevention and cross-contamination control

Supporting a positive patient experience

Working efficiently alongside the wider dental team

Helping maintain a well-organised clinical environment

GDC registered

Previous Dental Nursing experience

Experience with implant dentistry
